Columnist: The Planet Is More Important Than People

"Compassion fatigue" isn't a new phenomenon. It can be tiring trying to make the world a better place. This is the first time, though, that we've had to try to save at the same time both the planet itself and the people on it. At the moment, we seem to care more about the planet than the people.
