The Eroding Power of Our Parliament

I once believed that parliamentarians were legislators, democratically elected. I believed that judges were appointed to interpret and administer the law. But the Charter of Rights and Freedoms has given judges the power to change the laws and the Constitution, consistently removing this power from Parliament.
