According to Nielsen Media Research data and NBC, "Meet the Press with Tim Russert" was the No. 1 Sunday morning public affairs program, winning the 2006 calendar year in all categories, marking the broadcast's ninth straight year as the top-rated Sunday show (1998-2006).
