'Psychic' Fails to Foresee Police Sting

Foreseeing the future is Bonnie Davido's business. But she didn't see through an undercover detective posing as a hit man, police say. Davido, who runs a palm-reading business from her Bronx apartment, was being held on $100,000 bail, charged with conspiracy and criminal solicitation. Police said she plotted to have her husband's mistress killed.

Dallaire Pleads for Action on Darfur

Retired Canadian general Romeo Dallaire blasted the U.S. and Canada on Monday for failing to rally the world and provide the political will to save people in Darfur. The reason so many people have been allowed to die in Sudan already, Dallaire told a Senate subcommittee, is simple. "There's no self-interest. Who cares about Darfurians? They're sub-Saharan Africans. They're like Rwandans."
