A recent study by global research group AC Nielsen found 57 per cent of Canadians, who spend hundreds of millions of dollars in cosmetic surgery every year, believe the 60s are the new middle age. Healthier eating, longer life spans and higher disposable income have helped to turn back time, not only on the outside but the inside, on a global scale. However, for many people, the biggest boost is coming from the surgeon's scalpel, the survey found.
